MIDI file Quality
A professional MIDI file is not simply a sequence of notes, but a musical backing track designed to support singers and musicians performing live.
M-Live MIDI files are created by professional musicians, with particular attention to:
- accuracy of the harmonic structure;
- balance and functionality of the arrangement;
- dynamics and expressiveness of the parts;
- sound quality;
- effectiveness of the backing track during live performance.
Each backing track is a cover version, transcribed and arranged by our musicians: it does not contain the original artist’s recording and is not intended to reproduce it identically in every detail. Some arrangement choices, individual instrumental parts, sounds, and performance details may therefore differ from the original recording.
The sound of a MIDI file also depends on the instrument, sound module, or software used to play it back. The same file may therefore sound different on different equipment.
Our MIDI files also include features designed for performers:
- lyrics synchronized with the music;
- markers for navigating between the different sections of the song;
- chords to support instrumental performance;
- the ability to change key, tempo, instruments, and individual parts.
Before purchasing, we recommend listening to the preview available on the song page, so you can evaluate the arrangement and musical performance.
Song Service MIDI files are compatible with the main instruments, software, and devices that support the MIDI format. When used with M-Live hardware products, they also allow you to take advantage of the features and sound characteristics they have been optimized for.
