Midi Karaoke

MIDI is the acronym for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. MIDI is a computer language invented to enable computers, electronic musical instruments and other hardware to communicate with each other. The MIDI file does not include recorded sounds, but rather numerical instructions. In other words, when you use a MIDI keyboard, every time you press a key, a series of commands (or, precisely, midi messages) are created that determine the pitch of the note to be played, the length, the amount of pressure applied to the key, etc. etc. Within the Karaoke midi file, other instructions are also set to allow the receiving hardware to understand which sound to play, how much effect, at what speed (bpm), at what volume, etc.

The Midi Files available in the M-Live catalogue can also include, at your choice, the lyrics of the song and the musical chords, all synchronised to the backing track (karaoke). There are also some "fixed" tracks, such as track 1 for the lyrics, chords and exclusive systems, track 10 always dedicated to the drums, track 4 for the guide melody, track 5 for the operation of the harmonizer.
